Just finished this one up.
Butcher Block
Another project well under way
Doing a couple 36″ round tables for Marx Pioneer Inn in Muskego. This is the first of the two and it’s dubbed “The Pioneer Table.” It features Walt Whitman’s poem, an RC Cola crate, baby blocks, an antique yard stick and many different woods. Very excited about this one.
The Booze Table is done.
Finished a coffee table for a client. The Booze Table is made from scotch crates, whiskey labels and beer cans among a variety of woods. The vast majority of this is recycled wood from multiple sources.
Please see the links above for more pics and info. Gracias.
Viola!
The Lincoln is done, sold and hanging. We unveiled it this morning on location. The rusting process was an eye-opening moment and pretty frickin cool. Added a 1969 Illinois license plate to tie in the “Land of Lincoln/Car” thing. Like a Levi’s tag on your jeans pocket.
Grinding is done. *whew*
‘Nutha project
We’re doing a piece of wall art for a corporate environment. It’s a portrait of Abe Lincoln on a 1975 Lincoln Continental hood. Having lots of fun with the grinder and sparks. Going to eventually apply an acid wash, salt and iron filings to make all the exposed metal rust. Can’t wait to see this baby done.
The Booze Table
Making a sweet coffee table from poplar, maple, mahogany, oak, walnut, vintage beer cans, old wine crates and scotch boxes. Okay, now we’re thirsty. We hope you thoroughly enjoy our work.
Love the smell of a new project
Starting a coffee table. Very excited to dig into a new, smaller project. Going to integrate some vintage beer can metal into the wood collage top.
